Higgins Explains What He Saw on INT vs. MINN

Vikings Prove They're the Real Deal

In a game widely considered to be a battle for NFC supremacy, the Minnesota Vikings came away with a dominant 28-14 victory over the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.

Strong Offensive Display

Kirk Cousins passed for 299 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Justin Jefferson for two of them. Dalvin Cook also had a strong performance on the ground, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Defense Dominates

The Vikings defense stifled the Packers offense, holding them to just 287 total yards and two field goals. They forced two turnovers, including an interception by Patrick Peterson in the end zone that sealed the victory.

Higgins' Observations

According to ESPN analyst Louis Riddick, the Vikings' performance was a sign of their growth and development as a team.

"I think this game was a coming-out party for the Vikings," Riddick said. "They looked like a complete team on both sides of the ball. They're a legitimate contender in the NFC."

Higgins agreed with Riddick's assessment. He believes the Vikings are now the team to beat in the NFC North.

"I think the Vikings have sent a message to the rest of the league," Higgins said. "They're the real deal. They're a team that can compete for a Super Bowl."
