Its been a long old wait since Peter Cat Recording Co dropped their brilliant sophomore Bismillah, one of 2019s best albums. Now the Kolkata quartet are back with their third studio album and first label release, BETA. And it's a corker.

BETA is a beautifully crafted album that showcases Peter Cat Recording Co's growth as musicians and songwriters. The songs are more mature and sophisticated than anything they've released before, and the production is lush and detailed.

The album opens with the dreamy "People Never Change", a song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song is a gentle ballad about the futility of trying to change people, and it's one of the most beautiful songs Peter Cat Recording Co have ever written.
